Man.U one of the favorites is in the title race with Chelsea. After three consecutive wins ManU is in danger to lose the title this year. But still Sir Alex Ferguson is in the hope and says we still have one more week to go. I wouldn't say it’s a sealed result (for Chelsea) against Wigan by any shadow of a doubt. They're a good team, they'll have a go and you just never know. It's a crazy game.
Portugal international player Nani scored the only goal in the match and kept ManU in the title race. Nani scored the winning goal in the 28th min of first half Hours after Chelsea had established a four-point lead over United with victory at Liverpool, United once again reduced it to just one.
Sunderland tried hard to come back in the game. They created good chances to score. Craig Gordon made an excellent save to stop the ball shot by Wayne Rooney and then Phil Bardsley's block from Ryan Giggs' follow-up after the rebound.
One problem faced by Sunderland was their possession. Possession of the ball by Sunderland was low and the ball used to be given away quite easily. Usually there is a crackle when you play Manchester United and they were nervous and edgy.
